If you do not cross the meadow thickly covered

If you do not cross the meadow thickly covered
in weeds,
You will never reach the village dusted with
falling blossoms.

Commentary:


Or as my father always says: "forefront the agony." There is also another saying that goes something like: "anything worth having is worth working hard for." But I like the way Zen Master So Sahn says it.
